Buffalo Bike Blast MOC 2014
Get ready for Buffalo Bike Blast MOC (Motorcycle Only Checkpoint) 2014! Bike & Car Show, Live Music, Vendors, Prizes, Food, Drink and much more! ALL motorcyclists are invited to ride on down to Niagara Square in Downtown Buffalo, New York for a FREE Motorcycle Only Checkpoint! We would like to get you prepared the 2014 riding season when we will be targeting well-known charity motorcycle events (reducing their attendance & donations), forcing motorcyclists to leave the roadway, regardless of any wrongdoing, and having your persons and property inspected for helmet, exhaust and other equipment violations, proper paperwork, etc. We realize that funds would be better spent on educational programs aimed at reducing motorcycle crashes, education of the driving public to make them aware of motorcycles, public service announcements, bill boards, class room & hands-on training for new drivers, etc. but that does not put any cash in our pockets! These checkpoints are funded by a grant from the New York Governor's Traffic Safety Committee and the police who work them are paid overtime. Now that Western New York is completely free from violent crime AND we have a 100% recovery rate for your stolen property, what else are we going to do?
