Wheatfield
Ride To Natalie's - For Childhood Cancer
As part of the nationwide Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer, young Natalie Berg will be selling lemonade at her home in Wheatfield, NY. Lots of lemonade stands will be operating but Natalie's is unique. You see, 7 year old Natalie is a cancer survivor. Her family wanted to do something to help fight this awful disease; here is your chance to help. I'm requesting participation from all bikers, in WNY and southern Ontario, clubs and individuals, to make 6996 Lakeside Drive in Wheatfield, NY a refreshment stop on your days ride to support this wonderful cause. Invite your friends. I have more than a passing interest in this. My nephew Sam who lives in North Carolina is also a cancer survivor. I have a pretty good understanding the hell these kids and their families go through. This year, 13,500 children will be diagnosed with some form of cancer. 25% will NOT survive. Please be a part of the cure. It's just a few minutes out of your day and a few cents out of your pocket. If you belong to a club, perhaps your club can make a small donation to Natalie too. If you intend to bring a large group, please post it on our Facebook page so I can let Natalie's mom know. More info at Cyberspokes.com. Thanks for your anticipated support.
